In this video Nick Sweet of Concordia’s Student-run astronautical engineering group Space Concordia describes his teams winning CubeSat entry and provides an insightful analysis of the Canadian Satellite Design Challenge at the 2012 Canadian Space Summit.

The mission of the 3U CubeSat ConSat-1 is to map plasma parameters in the South Atlantic Anomaly – the region of the inner Van Allen radiation belt closest to the earth’s surface. It is hoped it will launch in 2013.
