The IARU International Amateur Radio Satellite Forum will this year be held in conjunction with the AMSAT-UK Colloquium which takes place in Guildford, England on the weekend of September 15-16.
The forum, chaired by IARU Amateur Satellite Advisor Hans van de Groenendaal ZS6AKV, takes place on Saturday, September 15 at 1700 BST (1600 UT).
On the Agenda is a report on the activities of the IARU Satellite Adviser and his Advisory Panel.

The technology camp EMF 2012 being held at Pineham Park, Milton Keynes runs from Friday August 31 to Sunday, September 2. BBC TV reports that two 20m high masts linked by microwaves have been erected for the event, one at the campsite and the other in the car park of a data centre 2.5 km away.
Among the weekend of presentations are some by radio amateurs such as Adam Greig M0RND (formerly M6AGG). Adam is a member of the UK High Altitude Society (UKHAS) and Cambridge University Space Flight (CUSF) and will be talking about High Altitude Ballooning. The balloons use 434 MHz for the telemetry and video image downlinks.
Duchifat-1 is an experimental and educational spacecraft developed and built by young Israeli students at the Space Laboratory of the Herzliya Science Centre (HSC).
As well as APRS on 145.825 MHz it also carries a UHF/VHF 1200 bps BPSK transceiver that can provide a FM to DSB transponder.
NanoRacks is involved with the amateur radio F-1 CubeSat due to be deployed from the International Space Station (ISS) in September. This video shows NanoRacks CEO Jeff Manber at a TEDx presentation at the International Space University.
